Date & Walnut Loaf

Date and Walnut Loaf


3/4 cup chopped dates
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 tablespoon Olive Grove Lite margarine
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup sugar
1 level teaspoon bi-carbonate of soda
1 cup self raising flour
1/2 cup All Bran


Place dates, walnuts, All Bran, margarine, boiling water, sugar and bi-carbonate of soda in a bowl and stir until dissolved. Add the flour and mix well.

Bake in a loaf tin lined with Glad Bake for 40 minutes in a preheated 160 degrees oven. (10 slices - approx 2 points per slice)
